Hi all,

I have got a USB DOK (sandisk U3 16GB) which the client insert 3 times wrong password.
Now the USB is locked so his doesn't have access to that USB flash.
He gave me the DOK after he tried to do some changes and it seems that there is not any password on the DOK, I see full capacity of the data, but all the folders are scrumbles with unknown logical names.
Is there any option to retrive the data back?
P.S: if someone can hack the encryption or fix the data remotly so please PM me with a qoute for that and we will move on with Teamviewer.

Best Regards,

I haven't seen anyone crack the AES 256 encryption if that is what is protecting this specific device. Do you have the exact model number of the USB Thumb Drive ? The U3 protection I don't think encrypts the data. If its the AES from Sandisk website it indicates once locked it needs to be formatted to re-gain access. Of course that is dangerous and I am not sure even after that carving for the data would yield good results.
