I've been working on a Nokia phone that was sent to service center for repair, but they said they could not repair it. I have full schematics and even a working donor phone. From what I've read, it is possible that the flash memory is the fault. If it truly cannot be repaired, I'm planning to read the chips (they are FBGA44 NAND chips) directly using universal programmer with SA733A-B206A-M056F001Y adapter. I have a research paper describing the file system of the device and how to assemble from memory dumps. If anyone has any interest in the project, I'm happy to share what i have. Also, I'm wondering if anyone has any info on the iPhone file system. I'm not talking about working phones, but rather just the NAND chip. Can the iPhone Nand be moved to another phone, provided the NAND is not corrupt/damaged? I've heard this does not work, but I've never tried it.
