Dear All,

somebody asked me if I can help him find a local expert who takes care of his bad USB drive. This is what he wrote:
"My friend is facing a problem. he has stored his data in usb flash drive. unfortunately when he tried to access the data it keep saying you have to format the drive. when we check the drive properties it says 0 bytes in use and 0 bytes free."

He lives in Leeds, UK, so anybody in the vicinity who can take care of this, please PM me with your contact details and I pass it on.

Thanks,
Peter

I guess this is a USB Flash pen as opposed to a portable HDD?

Best bet for a UK professional would be to contact pcimage on this forum. He has the required tools, skills and is highly recommended among the forum.

That's right, it's a USB thumb drive, not a HDD in an USB enclosure. Thanks for the help guys, I've already sent the contact, so it's up to him to make it happen.

Hi Peter, I would recommend Sean (pcimage) in peterborough, or Mike (MJM data recovery), I know them and they know their stuff :)
