Hello, I have a emtec 16gb which was crashed and since then was undetected by operative system, and pendrive was dead.
While I was measuring voltages, led turned on intermitently. Now the pendrive is detected by operative system but doesn't can mount the filesystem, although is tried again and again, as you can see (GNU/Linux):

If I try mounting it manually, I get this errors:

The file system wasn't safely closed on Windows. Fixing.

Do you think the problem is the controller, or the filesystem corruption? If it's possible, I can repair it before a flash chip removing and data reconstruction.

In addition to the option of removing the flash & reading it directly (or outsourcing to someone else, if you can't do that), then based on the way the problem started, I would start by looking for fractured solder joints or broken PCB tracks using a magnifying lamp and/or microscope, especially (but not only) in the area of the USB connector and nearby components.
