Formatting Memory Card

Hello,
Can some one help me in formatting my 2 GB Memory Card. I tried your Low Level Format utility 4.25. It formatted my MC successfully but the data was not erased and still I can see 1.54 GB of data present in my MC. Kindly help me.

Why are you trying to use any utility to format your card - what is the original problem?
What exact type of memory card is this?
Where have you been using it - PC or camera or ... ?
If this is a new memory card, where did you buy it?
(Just FYI, I've asked for this thread to be moved to the Flash Memory part of the forum - you've started this thread in a part of the forum for Hard Disks. Therefore soon you'll find this thread has moved to that Flash Memory part of the forum.)

since you haven't said which card type, just going to guess this will work:
https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_3/btw the low level format utility is not for "Formatting Memory Card"
