32GB Lexar Card reporting 1GB. Please Help.

April 11th, 2012, 9:40

Hello,
I've bought a Lexar card ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004 ... 01_details ) to my Galaxy S2 two month ago, it was working ok, until yesterday, after a boot due to lack of battery and without doing anything my phone started asking if i want to format the card. I said no, removed the card and inserted (with the original Lexar adapter) in my Windows XP computer and my Windows 7 computer, both of them reporting 1GB on the card size and unformatted, also asking me if i wish to format. I have valuable pictures that i need to retrieve. Tried a lot of different recover software's and not one recovered a single file. I'm thinking in doing a low level quick format (if that exists?!?!), all quick formats from Windows, Easus Partition Master 9.0 and from diskpart failed with error messages. I'm open to all kind of ideas to rescue the data and restore the 32GB size on the MBR. Previously was on FAT32 with default sector size. I really need help.

Thanks,
Chapas

Formatting will make things worse. I suggest sending it to someone, based on you already trying software.

Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional
Image Rescue 3 and 4 suggested by Lexar
Recuva

ps: raw recover was also tried, always on 1GB none of them did the original 32GB card size
