Hi there

I'm looking for some advice regarding the ideal NAND flash recovery (direct from the chips of an SSD) situation with regards to the model i.e. controller used etc.

Obviously crypted chips are out of scope, so what SSD model(s) would be the easiest (if such a word can be used!) to recover data from?

I would really appreciate some guidance from experienced professionals and I'm also interested in recommended SSD recovery services located near to Finland.

Thanks again for your time.

Joe

It depends of what type of tools you are going to use for this recovery.

I am less interested in the tools used, more in the ability to successfully recover data.

Does anyone have a recommendation for reliable SSD recovery services close to Finland? Many firms claim to have this skill but further reading on their website suggests that they do not understand the inherent complexities involved with data management performed by a SSD controller chip.

Advice would be most welcome and could lead to some business...

If i understand well this quote you made, there's no easiest model to recover, but appropiate tools to do such work, since they must support such controllers, not all the tools support the same
controllers.

i could recommend a couple of trusty experienced specialists, but they are in UK or central Europe

Hey

Thank you everybody for the help and PMs.

I cannot reply to PMs as I don't quite have the usage statistics yet  but thank you anyway!

I am looking to build a portfolio of trusted SSD recovery labs across Europe as part of a bigger research project so all suggestions are welcome and helpful.

Cheers
