Hi, i'm trying to repair the pcb on a Transcend 4gb usb memory stick. It has a sm3527en controller chip. I just need the + - data lines pin numbers or even a schematic. Can anybody help? |

The original problem was the data tracks had been broken when the device had been damaged while plugged in to a usb port. I traced the data tracks from the usb connector which then passed through the pcb and then on the other side each connected to the controller chip through a low value resistor. It all looked simple. When I hot wired the device it didn't work at all which rather surprised me. After checking and rechecking my work I decided to hot wire to the controller chip side of the resistors and it just worked. Not sure exactly why it didn't work when it was connected to the usb plug side? Both resistors measure about 2 ohms each. |

The most important is that you get the data |
