Hi
I've got a problem with my Intel X25-M 80GB ssd drive that was in one of my laptops (Lenovo).
Since I've got a few laptops (work and stuff) i didn't touch this laptop a while and i forgot my passwords in this laptop.
i did changed the master password of the ssd and encrypted the data.
i did a huge search in the web and i couldn't found a solution to unlock an ssd that is locked (and his master pass has changed)
really !!! I've tried anything (partition magic, ubcd, HDDErase, etc....) and i cant remove the lock.
i don't care about the data inside.
if anyone have any advice, i would welcome it ..... because i really close to make it a door stopper

.

tried it already, can't run it without the pass.
I actually was able to secure erase the drive with some other tool but it remain locked.
you need the pass to be able to use the drive again.
so.... the problem remains the same

Just for repair that price nonsense. May be guys who quoted you meant Data Recovery process?
Unlocking your SSD intel drive is pretty simple with proper hw tool, but personaly me wouldn't work with guys who "forgot the password" due , it could be just stolen.

thanks 4 your answer DR-Kiev....
I'm not an expert but from the research that I did online, hw solution is not that simple.
from what im understood even if you physically change the controller in the ssd, it will remain locked.
so if you can give me some name of a tool that can do or some instructions,
it would be great ....
and about the "forgot" stuff .....
I have the receipt
