Recover data from formatted pendrive 8GB(SAMSUNG K9ABG08U0A)

Hello,
Something broke in my pen drive and it stopped showing as regular drive but instead it showed as 'no media', and there was no way that I could find to access it, so I've decided to format it and then recover the data.
Quick formatting in windows went fine, I used standard settings FAT32, allocation unit size 4096 bytes, and then pen drive started working normally. But the problem is that I tried to recover it with all free programs, and even trials (just to see is it recoverable), but I couldn't find any program who will find even a single file.
My idea is that maybe I used other file system and that makes the problem.
Can anyone help me?
Regards,
Pawel

Bad decisions...

Depending on the programs you used, if the scan went well and if they didn't find anything, I think your data are lost and nobody can help you.

if you use a disk imager such DMDE to take an image/clone of the whole disk, not just any partitions it might find.... and running on the image GetDataBack or r-studio doesn't find any files when told to ignore fat and search for lost files.. then I think you are S.O.L.
You say the drive works, otherwise I may suggest chip off solution, but in this case I think not.

doesn't sound good, but did you take the image of the whole disk, or partition? If the whole disk then I would say probably out of luck. If you did a partition I can only suggest retrying with the whole disk. If the Imaging process worked, it is odd not to find more if the format was only a quick format. If it was a full format, then not so odd.

Try to look at the content of the Flash using Winhex or R-studio; if you can see data other than 00, FF or both, then there is a chance that some data is still there. Otherwise....

Sometimes the controller goes stupid and thinks it is a memory bar or forgets it has NAND attached. If everything else fails, send it to someone that does chip-off recovery, and has a no solution-no fee policy. It wouldn't take me long to see if the data could be recovered or not.

Hi MrRazoR!
As HaQue says most pobably your NAND controler had gone.
If you need recover data you need expecializad tools to controler emulation. contact with local pro.
I think in poland you have pros for this work, if not i know somebody on Russia that can help you.
