 Post subject: SD Card Issue

Hi all,

I have a micro-sdhc card (SanDisk Ultra 8GB)

The card worked perfectly, and I used it several times over the last week, but unfortunately I didn't make a backup (was waiting on a new card) and now the card doesn't seem to work. It's not recognised on any device (tried several pc's etc.). Sometimes I get the message that the SD card is not recognised, but that's it.

Is there any way to recover a card like this?

Thanks for the idea, seems like a good service, however it's a little expensive so maybe as a last resort...

Is there anyway to attempt this myself, or a cheaper option maybe?

Ok, then you might be lucky and be able to take an image of the complete drive, then either use Partition find an mount to find the partition and mount it to recover files. Use DMDE to try and take an image as I described here:

No luck unfortunately, nothing recognisd...

I'v asked for a quote from the people you mentioned, so I may go down this route as nothing else seems to be working!
