All,

I purchased a license for FE about 3 years ago, but never really had an opportunity to learn how to do many recoveries. If I remember correctly, there was an online manual that walked you through the steps involved, but I can't find it on the Soft Center website anymore. Does anyone have these pages stored offline and is willing to share, even for a fee? I would need the instructions for FE up to version 6.256.

Shawn

Thanks Franc, but if memory serves there was some additional documentation that is missing. Seems as if they posted several examples or had a sample dump hosted that you could work from. Its been a while, so I could be mistaken.

No, not really walkthroughs. There is this link below which I suggest you read fully through a few times, especially the last 10 or so threads, and especially the "Manual" section, and especially those by Jeremyb. The post by SC themselves are very basic. Once you know what you are doing, you can understand them, but as a "manual" well it is like Page: This a page. Block: this 1 block. etc BTW, the relevance to current versions of FE is slim. There is NO Manual as such for FE and in the words of the Man "FE is not a research Tool"!

I suggest using teleport or something to "get it" while you can as I think it wont be there forever.
