Dead ocz agility 3 60gb?

Hello,
My friend gave me dead SSD ocz agility 3 60gb
symptoms:
BIOS, POST and system is not detecting the drive, tested on laptop and two different PCs on windows 8.1, 7 and linux ubuntu
When I plug in SSD the green light shines
when I put my ear to connected drive I can hear very quiet "sizzle" ?
..and that's it..
My friend lost invoice so there is no warranty
any ideas?
I think it's firmware issue, is there way to update firmware through UART pins or terminal may help? or something?
