If it stopped working after a drop, it's undoubtedly had a head crash and will likely need the read/write heads replaced.

You'll need professional recovery. Not a do it yourself situation unfortunately (especially on a Passport).

Does it actually show the proper size, or just that something is connected? Often it's just seeing the USB controller which is built on the drive. However I'd doubt that the drive shows any capacity (size).

If the data is very important, I'd recommend that you keep it powered off until you get it to a professional data recovery place. This user on the forum is in your country, he should be able to help.

Just to explain what's happening to your drive in more detail:

When a drive powers one of the first things it does is load it's "Firmware" from some hidden tracks on the drive known as the Service Area. When it's unable to read some, or all of the service area due to damaged sectors, or failed read/write heads the drive won't operate and will show zero capacity. Only after the drive is repaired and proper initialized will it be able to read data.

There really is no solution for this unless you have access to professional tools like PC-3000.
