I have a need to reverse engineer a PIC dump so I can rewrite functionality with a few slight differences. Has anyone any info on getting some sort of decompilation/disassembly of flash contents?

Chip was sent to a lab and contents are expected to be retrieved, but it will be just HEX Format. I have cobbled together code for many micros, but this is a bit different.

a few pointers would be greatly appreciated, if this is even do-able.

Thanks

Hi, have you tried any Pic-disassambler? Like http://www.joescat.com/micro/picchip.htm
Or online tool: http://www.eolis-software.co.uk/picdisassembler18.shtml
