Hi everyone,

I wasn't sure where to ask for help with this on the web so I am taking a chance on here.

I have a 64MB NAND image that was extracted from a TSOP-48 that was on an old Compact Flash card (2004).

The data contains photos that were taken by a friend of mine on a trip in Europe in 2004. During his trip, his card stopped working and I took a look at it and all recovery attempts failed to read the card so I sent it into a place that was able to extract the data from the NAND chip. I have had this image since 2004 on my computer and was never able to recover the photos.

The problem is that the data is mixed and I don't know how to get it back in order to be able to recover the photos.

I can see the Exif II headers all over the image so I think all (or perhaps almost all - there might have been some bad blocks) the data of his photos is there.

Can anyone give me a hand with this please? I would really like to surprise my friend and send him all the photos he took from his trip 11 years ago!

Thank you very much in advance!

Hi! Thank you so much! That would be really awesome if you could recover the photos!

I don't remember the exact controller chip make/model but here is the info I do have:

1. The chip is from an old Fujifilm 64MB Compact Flash card identical to this one http://www.amazon.com/Fujifilm-64-MB-Co ... B00006LL8Z
2. The card had 1 single 64MB TSOP-48 memory chip
3. Chip make/model: Samsung K9F1208U0M

Here is a link to the RAW NAND image (it is public so anyone that wants to practice their skills can give it a try):

Thanks again!
