I am looking to get PC-3000 SSD as an addition to my standard PC-3000. I know there are so many issues with SSD's (unrecoverable Sandforce controller etc). Is it still worth investing in this equipment?

there is NO Sandforce Tool yet.
and YES, it WORTH every single $ (in case if you get SSD drives ofcourse)

And will never be... for that kind of controllers
ddrecovery, think twice about it. Do you have enough SSD cases? There is a big problem due to different SSD vendors uses micro-controllers with encryption algorithm (like Sandforce).

This is most advanced tool for SSD on the market for now. The new SSD models (and controlers) constantly added by developers. We found it very useful. Of course, this is the metter of SSD case number You have.

It pays for itself quickly if you know your local marked.

There is nothing else on the market as good as PC3K SSD and you can buy it only when you have a case for supported drive.

The more people that buy this the better it will become. I use mine, not every day as we dont see many SSDs with FW issues that can be repaired with PC3000 but there are many that it does support. Intel with BAD_CTX .. still get these about 1 a month. So they more than pay for the TS contracts.
just my 2c

Just found out that as I have the PC3K UDMA, the PC3K SSD software is not supported. Its only now supported on PC3K Express since the split From PC3K Flash. Bugger

@ddrecovery
But you get a good offer to upgrade old UDMA to UDMA-E

More than a good offer I think

Just need to decide on the 4 Channel by itself, or the 2 Channel plus SSD, both work out to be the same price.... If I didn't have to destroy the UDMA there would be no question..............
