Hi Guys, Anyone here recovered photos from one of these? Before I rip into it, I thought I would ask as it is stuck in APX mode(black Screen).

Basically want to know if the moviNAND is straight forward to recover or better off trying to fix the brick. I didn't really find anything to do with unbricking a device that wasn't already rooted.

Are these encrypted?

If I good remember there is eMMC chip and I made one recovery some time ago from it. With success.

Thanks I am worried any unbricking attempts will wipe User Data. Tablet screen doesn't seem to work, and I see these A10x models have a fair amount of issues. Although Acer have been reported to fix these, in some cases even out of warranty, very cheaply... I know better to send to a manufacturer for repair when you want to keep user data!
