Post subject:  SSD Caddy/Enclosure

Hi
I'm looking for a caddy or enclosure to connect my SSD drive externally or even internally for my desktop maybe PCI-e expansion card? I've had a look around the internet but can't see anything to fit. I would prefer to get parts from the UK, time is a factor. The SSD is Model MZ-jpv128r/0a2. Any help or information on this would be much appreciated. Ive attached an image of the interface.

Thanks

Rob

I believe this is what you're looking for: http://www.pc-adapter.net/products/747.html

I don't think you'll find any in the UK, as I'm pretty sure this is the only place that makes an adapter for it.

Interesting, I haven't seen that one before. Anyone know if it actually works? I know even the PCIe one can be touchy, and doesn't seem to work all the time.

Besides the SSD model, could you also mention the notebook model (LNNNN or LLNNN)?

Is it just that one card from China?

For this model choice is very limited at the moment.

I would also love to find a SATA adapter for our internal recovery experiments with these SSDs. With PCIe one system hangs too frequently.

Spoke to the company that sells the USB version and they say it won't fit. There's a slight differences. So square one.

This is the one I bought, works well, used extensively for 2 weeks straight and no issues.

These SSD are out of / for Apple MacBooks from mid 2013 up to now.

I have digged in the internet the last weeks and this is the result:
- the adapter shown by PCIMAGE,
- then there is a USB 3.0 case from OWC = OWCMAU3ENPRPCI
. (be carefull only to check for this type) costs around $ 150,-
- and the optional adapter from Atola for the Atola Insight Forensic
