You already have the hardware, having a NAND reader should be your last priority, you need to be able to solder the monolithic first.

i don't own PC3K flash, but i don't understand why do you think that ace's flash can't read monolith the only diff. is the wiring, but it's not supposed to be difficult to wire a monolith chip to a tsop48 adapter

Ace reader v1/v2 can be redesigned to more reliable solution :) With ZIF48 socket you can built ANY adapter, all you need is few basic stuff from electronic shop and a little solder skills.

World’s first TSOP-48 RAID-1 :D

Well, I think there will be some problems with this solution. The total length of the wires are too long. This is causing interference with reading problems. Some chip will probably read ok, but monoliths and other “demanding” chips will probably have bad reading quality.

Imho, you need buffered signals for such long wires.

I use it from 2 years and works perfect :) Long wire is completely not the problem (compare it to v3 reader with 2 adapters connected - it is really long vehicle :D) . Problem with monoliths is inside the reader hardware/software. I hope in next versions v3 and v4 it is corrected. v2 can only read only about 20-30% of monoliths (on rest I can't get any ID). I think it is problem with isolating controller form nand. SC and Rusolut reader do not have this problem.
