Anyone know of a resource to fully explain the Masks used in NAND recoveries (eg 0xFFFF) when converting data by using block numbers (eg 0000). Thanks. |

It is a bit mask. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mask_(computing) Specifically, it utilizes the AND operation. |
