Funny... I like the flexibility though.
I would be really interested in their controller algorithm to handle communication with the SD Cards, especially if various SD Cards models are inserted.

And all that for $26......

AIUI, the card uses the S681BG eRAID controller by SAGE Microelectronics Corporation.
http://guard-tech.com/list.asp?id=32&lx=big&anid=4http://www.storagesearch.com/sagemicro2015.pdfIts max read/write speeds are 260/225 MB/s, not 350MB/s.
I like this idea (Controlled Self-Destruction SSD Modules):
http://guard-tech.com/list.asp?id=9&lx=big&anid=1Your mission Jim, should you choose to accept it, ... As always, should you or any of your I.M. Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This Controlled Self-Destruction SSD Module will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim.

I'm pretty sure it's purpose is to create fake SSD's to peddle out onto unsuspecting buyers on ebay. I'm betting these'll be showing up soon to a lab near you.

Odd how it double posted my last post... I know I only hit submit once and it wasn't doubled at first....maybe a database glitch.

It would probably be cheaper to just buy an SSD.. we are getting 120GB ones here for under AU$60
SD standards allow for easily writing to different brands - I seriously doubt much time would have been spent on the firmware apart from read_SD() and Write_SD()
Tempted to get one to play with but I know it would be a waste of both time and money...

I wonder if you could use the card as a 10-way microSD duplicator.

probably need to write firmware for that, I doubt you could target them separately. I have used a Memory stick to 2x microSD adapter and it just looks like the actual formfactor it is pretending to be to the OS. IIRC the first time you formatted it, if you had one MicroSD in the adapter it would format as that and if two, would format as 1 device using both, but you couldn't then take out one and have it work.
