Good morning, my English is not that great. I wanted to know if anyone can help, I have a 512 GB SSD C400 crucial MFTDDAA512 has the firmware damaged a chip n25p80. I try a raw copy of the chip firmware data to be able to be programmed via SPI and then risaldarlo on the board.
I found the firmware but it is in .iso format and is not compatible with via SPI programming. Thanks for your help

I try to buy a second SSD to be able to dump. But I'm afraid there will be problems with serian number.

I don't understand what you are doing or why you are doing it or whether you will achieve anything by doing it, but could you upload your chip dump and provide a link to the ISO?

Iso not is correct format for upload in the chip flash.

I think it is pointless to do what you are trying to do, whatever that may be. Exactly what are you intending to write to your SPI flash chip and why?
IIUC, only 37KiB of code is destined for the SPI flash. The remainder is written to NAND flash.
You still haven't told us which ISO you are talking about, but here are a few more for you to play with:

My ssd bios chip Is empty. Ssd Is invisibile in sata bus. Only programming in spi mode firmware possibile sution for successive visibile ssd in sata mode and extract data.

The EN25P80 chip has a capacity of 1 Mbyte. That's a lot more than 37KiB. My analysis of the firmware update may be incorrect, but in any case you have no information as to the structure of the firmware in the SPI flash. So how do you propose to rewrite this chip?

I'll rewrite the chip with SPI interface with flash programmer .
Now I'm buying a second ssd who unmount the chip and always I copy with the programmer . Only I found a ssd 256 and not 512 then there will be some modifcare parameter. I hope to keep the disk sata interface so you can then update the bion properly.
For now, the disc is of course invisible to the sata

Why don't you start by telling people exactly what you've done? So far you haven't really told us anything.
Just to satisfy my curiosity, could you upload the SPI flash dump?

I copied from spi ssd microns c400mftak 256GB inserted into the bios chip and reconnected to SSD 512 not working. connecting via SATA now gives me a disc with a name full of strange characters and a huge capacity in GB. however, no data access unfortunately. I do not know if the bios is necessary to enter the serial number and other data. the fact is that the c400 name does not appear but appear strange symbols. I have repeatedly made the bios verification and writing is correct. I am desperate.

Is this what happened?
1/ One day your SSD was working fine.
2/ The next day your SSD was no longer detected by BIOS.
3/ You started troubleshooting the SSD and discovered that the SPI flash chip was blank.
4/ You rewrote this blank chip on your 512GB SSD with the contents of a chip from a 256GB SSD.
5/ Now your SSD is detected, but with a bad ID and no access to data.
Did you do anything to damage your SSD? For example, did you attempt to update its firmware (via SATA) and did this update fail?
Did you accidentally erase the SPI flash IC when you were troubleshooting the SSD?
You have declined repeated requests to upload the SPI flash dump. Are you concerned that you will be exposing the serial number?
I find it difficult to understand how the SPI flash chip could have been erased in normal operation. The fact that you were able to reprogram this chip would suggest that it is fully functional. That's why I feel that you may not be telling us everything.
