Recovery of Video file contents from Mic SD Card!

I used an app on my cell to record an important lecture. i watched the recorded video which was fine. As i tried the file to be shifted to my desktop by removing SD from my Cell, it read '0' bytes against the name of that file, even on inserting it back to my cell. used multiple recovery apps but in vain.
Someone please help!
