I have a Laptop HDD that is Hitachi 500GB SATA 3.0 Gb, Can I plug it to my PC?

Yes, you can. Just get something to fix it to the pc case instead of letting it dangling from the cable.

Thanks. The external drive will be sitting on a desk most of the time. Thumb drives are almost as big now... it was just a way to wipe the disk, and now it is usable. Cool.
