I am doing a small datarecovery in norway, and using pc3000, and mrt-lab(this is just reserve...) I can do hdd, ssd, flash, and now thinking about doing mobilephones too. But there is a lot of different tools ou there, one for this and one for that, and another for the third thing, many different adapters etc. But i have done some research and came to choose between pc3k mobile when this is released, and cellebrite. Cellebrite is what i understand, the phone must be working, powered and so on, but no things for off-chip-handling. pc3k does have this function...Cellebrite does have a version only for officials, e.g police, etc, not for the average dr-company. I am lookning for something that can open the most broken phone for recovery, if that means off-chip, ok i'll take that. But am i on right track when i compare these, or is it something i missed or overseen? I see that there are several cellebrite for sale on ebay, but i dont know if these ar legal, i mean regarding license etc.... Any ideas?
