Post subject:  OCZ Agility 3 not detected

Hi,

I've got ssd ocz agilityz 3 and the controller is a sf-2281. Disk worked fine for several years; since last power outage it is not detected anymore (even in bios); tried different computers, cables.
The SF-2281 chip gets quite warm to touch when powered up; other flash chips don't get warm at all.

This is the log from terminal

Sandforce contoller (search it here) so EXTREMELY difficult to recover due to hardware encryption.

There is nothing DIY you can do with this.

Professional recovery would be at least $500 (slim chance) to several thousand (more likely) depending on the level of memory degradation.

Hi,

thanks for replying. Basically recovering data is not important to me at all (there was only OS installed on the drive). Is it possible to make disk functional again?
