crucial m550 ata locked 3rd party removal software

I have a m550 crucial that is sata locked
I want to remove the sata lock and use the drive
Is there any software that will do this
The crucial storage executive pro software does not detect my drive whether its connected to sata or usb connections to the pc.
Does anyone know how to remove the ata lock without the password and wipe the drive for re use.
