Hi guys,

I recently bought myself a non functional Vertex 460A in order to repair it as I had positive experiences repairing Vertex 2 drives using SF's MPTool. Now, as it arrived, I connected it to my PC and jumped the header to get it into some kind of repair mode. It's recognized as an non-initializable 128GB which goes by the description "ATA BAREFOOT3-FACTOR SCSI Disk Device". I've tried looking for some kind of firmware flash tool but only found an outdated Indilinx MPTool which doesn't support the IDX500M10-BC controller and doesn't support the TH58TEG8DDKBA8C chips. What can I do to restore the original firmware or upgrade it? Or maybe, if it isn't the firmware, what can I do at all (besides of throwing it away)?
