Youtube NAND Flash Goodness

October 29th, 2019, 18:13

I decided to start my YouTube channel back up..

So far,

Simple PS2232 Off Chip Recovery:

Hunting down Monolithic Signals:

I'm thinking maybe do some more Soft-Center videos, some basic monolithic stuff, etc... Any suggestions?

Why don't you use some kind of jig to avoid chasing the PCB with your iron?

Thanks for the education.

The jig is called my hand :-) The problem is the FOV on the microscope requires I keep the device dead center otherwise it moves off camera.

That would be nice to see FE in action. Good job and hope to see more.

FE is not often that simple, though even still many have problems with even these recoveries. The issues lie in the sheer variety of flash drive variables, and lack of any reasonable manuals for either tools or drives.

These videos are very helpful, especially the explanations that are seemingly offhand, such as block size at the end of the mix and how it relates.

The LA one is nice, I hope you do more JB.

Here is a video I made on finding the block size :-)
