hi everyone

I unintentionally destroyed two of the diods of my ssd as in the picture :(
but the SSD is still working great and I even did some tests and there were no problems so far...
but I'm not sure if it could still be broken or maybe brake soon....

that's why i just wanted to know what task the diodes can have....

Best Regards ;)

Those are not diodes, they are decoupling capacitors. The drive will probably work fine because the exact capacitance to ensure correct operation of the memory cells is often rounded up greatly in most electronics. However it is a good idea to replace those capacitors, If the level of capacitance is borderline, some writes may fail and the controller may start remapping blocks thinking the flash was dying. A few good ceramic 0.1uf capacitors will do the job.
