Well,
Why do i get all the super complicated cases in india for flash ,every bloody case i get is mostly new ,Has anyone worked on the Sandisk 820410PA1 Controller with TSOP48 NAND Which is 32768Mb to read but 16GB as printed on pendrive .This is Definately TLC IMHO ,The Controller is a QFP

Didn't have one yet but if it's TSOP48 you can always try to fix/swap the pendrive. If you get the memory dump first.

Hello,
I have Read the dump ,I will see if i have a donor ,I will also post here to see if anyone has a donor maybe ,But i have got little info on this Sandisk Pendrive , Perhaps Arvika has got his hands on this one for sure ,QFP controller package and TSOP48 NAND ,I though this one is gonna be easy

Hi,
I Will Send The Details After Scanning The Flash Drive On Scanner To Get Good Photo .BTW This is What Roman Wrote To Me " Sorry for bad news - this controller is a new gen of Sandisk CPU. Right now they are not supported. New 4xx family contains a new ECC structure which is XORed and partially encrypted. We are working on it now, hope solution will be within 6 month." .So PC3k Is Ruled Out Any Solution in VNR ? . Flash Extractor i Do Not Have ,Only Option Is NAND Swap To a Donor ,Has Anyone Tried This One

Well,
i have never received a broken connector case ever ,Do you have any idea if tis can be done now or not ,Might be VNR guys develop XOR etc for this

they are not talking about LDPC are they. as that is what it sounds like... but using scary gobbledegook language to make it sound harder (well, it is actually, but why not just say LDPC..)?
Seems to becoming more prevalent.

I don't think so it is LDPC. But of course I will check it if I meet such case :)

Hello,
Boss Arvika ,I cannot afford your prices ,But if you want the pictures of the device and would like to work remotely on VNR or PC3K Flash You Are Welcome ,I can give you remote access to a machine and you can try whatever you like to understand .As far as i a concerned SA area is xored too IMHO

Thanks Amarbir for pointing the Channel out. I don't understand a word of it, plus I think I am missing some important bits because of it. Most of looks pretty basic (monolith recovery Pr0n) but maybe there is more in the Audio. For example how did the author know where to connect LA, how was it interpreted, what are the gadgets etc.

BTW there is a great in depth review of the LA that appears to be used. Using a small glimpse of the marking of the LA plus a google image search, it looks like this one. The Review video really goes deep and is interesting in many parts.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ5wKYnCNcs

The author worked on the original UI for Sigrok, and there is an interesting discussion about the DSL people using Sigrok in contravene of the GPL.

I wonder how it will compare to my Saleae Logic Pro 16. I've ordered one to play with anyway. I've tried saving the few grand for a decent LA but just cant put that much into one right now, probably never!

Well,
I Think This Matter Is Burried ,Other Flash Recovery Engineers Please Take Note ,This IS The News I Got From Roman ,Sandisk Seems To Be Migrating To Encryption again Sign

"This family of CPU (Sandisk 0082-00410) contains a full hardware encryption by AES-256 algorithm. We thought that encrypted only FW part, but the whole data is encrypted now. The same problem appears with DM controllers. At this moment we don't have solution. There is no any tool in the World who can deal with AES-256 encrypted controllers. "

PS : Will Try To Swap NAND Or NAND And CPU Both To Donor

Sometimes it is still worth going through the motions of recovery. Just because a datasheet says a controller supports XYZ feature, doesn't always mean the people producing the flash devices actually enabled it or used it.

Well,
i Have Seen NAND In Bitview ,Nothing Makes Sense Out There ,You Will Only Go Through Motions Of Recovery If and Only If You See Something ,I Have a Donor Now i Will Try Few Things On This POS Controller
