would anyone care to share pinout for this one please? I cant see a similar one in any of the databases available to me. I am guessing it is SM controller with software bad bytes though

Looks like standard 7x3 to me.

I haven't seen one on UFD I would call standard, but do you mean ACE number 34? It is the only 7x3 UFD I know, but to me it looks different.

Check where VSS and VCC is.
