SM2258XT data recovery now possible!

Hi all,

we arre happy to announce that data recovery from SSD drives using SM2258XT controller is now possible.

We now have a solution and are able to recover most of them with very good results.

To the best of my knowledge, Ace won't support these drives in PC3000, because each version/manufacturer has its own firmware and it will be impossible to implement one universal solution like other controllers.

For details, please contact me via PM or email the other Dimitri at tech[@]northwind.gr

Ask amarbir.

Well,
I am Sure You Have Not Seen Hundred Of SSD's Of This Controller Failing ,This is Just a Comment You Made To Prove Something Which Actually Makes ZERO Sense . This Controller Solution Sells For USD 25 ~ 100 Everywere Lolz

As a matter of fact, I have.

The rest of your rant is clearly time wasting.

Well,
The Definition of Rant Does Not Fit The Description Of My Reply That Many are selling this solution openly and i also gave a strong proof DFL has it incorporated in thier tool ,So no point for people to pay the dollars mostly as demanded for ODD cases .

PS : Why Not Show Us Your Tool And Then Leave It To Other Smart People To Judge If They Like To Get It Recovered From You Or The Tools That Are Being Sold For Peanuts + This will also give us a chance to view your developed software ,We have seen the DR Side of Northwind Its time to see the software development side of Northwind too

Links, or it didn't happen. LoLz

BTW, if it is what I've seen, calling it a DR "Tool" or "Solution" is a little grandiose. Looks kinda risky as well.

I am talking about what Amarbir has seen here, not Northwinds solution

I just made a decision, not to waste any more of my time, lots of things to do.
If someone is offering a solution for $25, so be it (however don't come crying afterwards that your drive is bricked).
And, definitely, I do not have to prove anything to anyone (especially for free  ).

If anyone is looking for a real solution for SM2258XT that actually WORKS, then go to the top of this page.
Otherwise, well, it's your data and it's your choice.

So, after all this discussion (using the term liberally), we are still left with only 2 labs (based on this post) who have found a solution to the SM2258XT SSD controller and are now offering in-house data recovery services for those SSDs.

If you encounter an SSD with this controller that you are unable to resolve, you can choose to refer or outsource the project to either of these two labs, research your own solution or just tell your client that you are unable to handle it. Just stop criticizing others for doing what you have not yet figured out how to do.

Indeed, we now use can openers to get into drives... that's advancement...
