Hi guys, anyone here knows how to run a small batch SSD production required Tools? instead of SMT and other tools for downloading firmware and flashing the SSD for the first time are there any tools? I'm planning to use "Silicon Motion" controllers like 2258, 2258XT, and so on ... which hardware and software tools are required after manufacturing to make SSD ready to the sale? |

If you buy the controllers I would assume the tools would become available as well, otherwise what would be the use of buying the controllers without them. There are many ways to get to a finished SSD, some full boards minus memory chips are available, you could do it from scratch, or you could buy OEM and rebadge them. What about firmware? from a business sense, I question if it is worth it. What is the driving reason for this venture? |
