Perhaps you should be looking for a faith healer. That thing needs more than an engineer, it needs an actual miracle. |

Doable.. with the right tools, which I don't have, whatever data was in the exposed silicon is lost though I'm saving up for an electron microscope |

Looks NOT doable to me (sorry), and we are recommended by SanDisk globally. |

I'm saying we get them from all over the world and that looks unrecoverable.. By us and I believe by anyone. If someone thinks they can recover a MicroSD cracked through the middle like that, and not JUST a small edge chipped off, then please do let me know.. I take it this question isn't for me, as I suggested no such thing. |

Just doing a hypothetical thought experiment. NAND memory is non-volatile so I don't think cells outside the damaged area would loose their charge, so they'd retain their data. I think the issue would be reconnecting the damaged bit lines and pipe gates to the memory stack. See cool pictures here: https://www.techinsights.com/blog/techi ... ate-iedm18 |

just measure each cell with a multimeter and record the results, write a python script to put it all back together |
