Hi guys, I'm in desperate need of some help!!
Recently my 1TB WD10SPZX SATA 6GBPS PCA500 SSD stopped working.
I removed the SSD and bought a new one for my laptop and installed windows on it.
then I connected the old SSD using a SATA to USB 3.0 SSD case to my laptop.
I could access all my old data and could have moved it.

But then, when I had connected the old SSD, a dialog box had opened that asked to repair the disk, I thought i might regret it but somehow I did it.
after the repair, now I cant access the drive and data.
plugging it in any computer freezes windows and everything gets back to normal once I eject the SSD.

I ALMOST HAD MY DATA!!
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN RECOVER IT?!?!
PLEASE HELP ME!!

It's not an SSD.
It's a Palmer HDD.

Yeah, choosing to repair the disk was a bad move.

Your drive is having SMART errors, we don't know which, but most likely it has degraded significantly. Here are a few things you can do:

*IF YOUR DATA IS OF ANY VALUE, CONSULT A DATA RECOVERY PROFESSIONAL*. I'm pretty sure there are some in 'Unknown'.

Palmers are challenging drives and you might hit a brick wall if you continue to mess with it.

Having said that, if your data is of no important value, connect your drive through SATA (not USB), download CrystalDiskInfo and check your drive's SMART Status.

Then, get a Linux distro, have HDDSUPERCLONE installed and image your drive to a new one.
Of course, if your drive has one of its two heads dying or dead, that will most probably kill your drive to a point of no return probably, so choose wisely.
