Good day to all here , i´m new in this forum i don´t undestand much about exernal drives, i need to buy an externall disk to use in my daily life to backup data from my desktop.
The drive will be to used to backup my docs pictures etc , and also to backup my pc with acronis true image, i will not be carrying it arround, its only to be at home for the backups
that i have mencionated .
I need advice that´s why i´m asking here for advice , so please feel free to give me some .

There are no good drives. They all fail, although some more than others.
You should have always in mind to perform a backup (duplication) of the data.
This is the best practice.
