I think my Hard Drive is dying, and my parents aren't keen o

Ok so.
My PC is pretty old, being from 2015 I think. It's the only thing I have, and not only I, but my family also often uses it to access their e-mails and whatnot, I use it for light gaming (It won't handle better) and school, and I don't have a SSD, only 2 mechanical drives:
1TB drive with my system and most games on it,
500GB drive with random files and few games on it.
Now, my system Disk is most probably failing, or starting to die after 5 years. I've had one or two times where it was randomly not detected at all, and if it is, then it barely loads Win10. While using the system, it is very, very often that my programs simply don't want to load, even Google. I can't even use CTRL+ALT+DEL because I have to wait a few minutes for my PC to recognize this action during these stutters. Usually rebooting helps, but with a mechanical drive and Win10... yeah.
I've run CrystalDiskInfo and found problems, but when I tried to fix them, nothing helped. I need some help with either fixing this Disk, or convincing my parents to finally buy me a SATA SSD. Thanks in advance!
