 Post subject: Broken in half micro sd card

Does anyone think this is recoverable and for a reasonable price? I’m hoping the memory chip isn’t damaged since it looks as if the thumbnail grip and the controller is what snapped off.

Lol but why are data recovery companies telling me this can be fixed under a microscope with chip-off technique? Seems sus

Probably what HDD_Sand said, they want that attempt fee. Also, you've probably been interacting with just the sales guys who have no clue what is and isn't possible. It's quite rare that you'd actually be getting the tech staff to respond to your queries and bigger companies especially have pushy commission-based salesmen that'll do anything to just get a case in the door.

Most of us that have replied here are in the business of professional recovery on the technical side of things.
