June 13th, 2021, 8:02

Hello,
I have an HP 64GB flash drive with below details:
Code:
Protocal Version: USB 2.00
Current Speed: High Speed
Max Current: 100mA

USB Device ID: VID = FFFF PID = 1201

Device Revision: 0000

Manufacturer: NAND
Product Model: USB2DISK
Product Revision: 0.00

Controller Vendor: FirstChip
Controller Part-Number: FC1179
Flash ID code:      AD3A14030850 - Hynix - 1CE/Single Channel [MLC] -> Total Capacity = 16GB

Tools on web:       http://dl.mydigit.net/search/?type=all&q=FC1179

I visited https://www.usbdev.ru/files/firstchip/fc1179mptools/ and tested some of the MpTools programs, but they couldn't fix my drive!
Any idea to fix my flash drive?

Thank you.

I think this is your first problem, 64GB UFD with 16GB of NAND.. Likely fake.

Thanks.
I just want to format it.

Have you considered it may be too kaput? And that even when you 'fix' it, it may be as good as useless?

crush that drive, and as you bring the hammer down, you must say "TAKE THAT YOU FAKE PIECE OF CRAP!"
