By These i mean mobile phones and the way they encrypt the MSD cards[/quote]

There are different encryption methods available (device based <> file based) and which one is used depends on how an SD card is configured.

By These i mean mobile phones and the way they encrypt the MSD cards

I might be wrong but in Mobile phones if Micro SD card is encrypted its For the Total Micro Sd Card And Not Individual Files - > https://youtu.be/WK2P9p6Mf7s?t=16818

From folder tree on that card you can see it's not configured as portable storage.
