I think much hyped acelab portable is big blunder . Still it is not supporting many SSD's.
It looks fancy than rugged industrial grade device. I haven't understoof use of touch screen which will make it fragile and non repairable and expensive.
It has limited no. of ports which is its major disadvantage.
What acelab has acheived in portable is unclear.

As per my understanding Portable is just the foundation for NVMe SSD's recovery. Not much has been built upon. But there is enough room for it in the future.

Anyone can offend an artist.
Make your own similar product. To make it better and cheaper.

As I see it PC3k Portable is more than support of damaged NVMe / PCIe incl Apple, Silicon Motion, Phison, Marvell etc. but other cool things as well. Btw they add new drives too

It seems to me that portability was the primary focus, as the tool is targeting onsite forensics specialists.

Sure, SSD support probably focus #2, in my opinion.
