Hello,

I got his card, before doing chip-off, I wonder if there is a safe mode option. I've looked around, couldn't find much info.

Has anyone tried troubleshooting those before ?

When connected to PC-3K PATA, BSY stays always on.

Thanks
Sam

Measure the voltage at the inductor above the "BBO" chip.

Hello suricate.ch, how are you?

This CF seems a little old i believe tools like vnr or flash extractor have support for this controller.
If you dont have tools to work with flash devices you can outsource, will be more easy than find a donor CF with the same controller.
