In January I installed a new 512 GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD on my laptop, which to date has only reached 1076 Gigabytes of writes.
Just a few days ago I noticed that a diagnostic test performed in January, when the drive had only 3 hours of operation, shows the message "Failing LBA: 6811136" in Samsung Magician 7 (
see the top right corner of the image).
I then repeated all tests, both short and extended, but they do not detect any anomaly so, probably, the damaged block has been reallocated, although Crystal Disk Info indicates that no sectors have been reallocated.
Does anyone have any information about the reported problem ? In this condition, can I request a warranty replacement of the disk ?
Thank you.
