Hello again,

I'm a bit confused, recently recieved a Intel 320 with a BAD CTX bug

I'm using PC3K SSD for this:
I can read chip IDs and everything seems fine- tried rebuilding translator - no errors-

switched to Data Extractor - Tons of ECC Errors

I'm still pretty new to Data Recovery- any hints on what to do next?

Thanks a lot in advance

You can build translator but can´t remove bit errors in NAND, but make it possible to recover what can be rescued.
Bit errors ( NAND errors ) is the reason for BAD CTX.

ACE has a clip showing the how to use Intel Postville utility here https://blog.acelaboratory.com/pc-3000- ... amily.html

heating, cooling or modifying NAND VCC can help reducing bit errors in some cases...

Agree pepe, in some cases temperature and voltage adjustments makes a big difference, but in the Intel 320 cases I have seen it didn't.
