Hi all, happy holidays Another day i found a video in youtube from a guy who says that he is capable to recover data from a monolithic device by decaping with laser. Does someone believe this can be useful to recover data? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8vMGR2FlUY |

I'ts not to recover data. It's to find conections needed to get direct access to NAND, read it and assemble it. |

He may be even to repair a blown resistor like that?! I have a monolith right now that is completely dead. If it would have been 'conventional' UFD it might have been something fixable. What kind of laser would one need for this? |
