I am a layman in this field, electrical engineer by training. My drive is damaged, and a reputable recovery company deemed it unrecoverable due to "no support for this controller by the manufacturer". What should I do?

Today we just recovered data from SSD with same controller, so "no support for this controller by the manufacturer" not always mean game over.

Have you checked the onboard power supplies?

Does the SSD show up in BIOS?
