Hello all -

Wondering if anyone can lend some advice.
We've received a SMSR150S3/128G (bare drive). A bit of research on this forum as some others shows it's a RAID 0 device 64GB x2 configuration w/128sector stripe.

Drive presents w/normal V and Amp draw. Thermal camera shows nothing crazy weird.
However SATA Channel 0 is in BSY state.

Thanks to the contributions of others I was able to build an adapter and confirm the second SATA channel is also in a BSY state.

Taking into account that with a loader I read back corrupted data and then assembling into a R0 I cannot seen to find the pins to trigger safe mode on this device.

Anyone have any idea's?

IC UU6 near one of the E3 coils appears to be chipped. What voltages do you measure at all three coils?

I will take measurements and get back to you.

Here is a better pic of the coils:

Chip is okay - just some sticker residue.

Good catch.

Thanks all -

Virtual translator on second channel created and we're pulling off data at 3MB/sec.

Just an update 100% recovery - albeit very slow readout.
