Hello everyone, i'm looking for some advices. We have a CF Sandisk Extreme UDMA 7 64 GB and we are working it with VNR.It has a Sandisk 20-82-00549 G835G38W25 controller and two memory chips BGA 132. The matter here is that, in the dump, we can read one half of each memory and the other half is empty. Either we can't find ECC or valid Xor. We don´t think that it could be a bad read of the memory but we are not sure if this controllers work in that way. If someone had the same "problem" with this kind of CF we are looking for help. Thanks to all.

Best Regards.

I don't have VNR, but is this a situation where you need to turn chip 180 degrees and read again? See https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php ... le=desktop

This cases use join by page 0x8 (8bytes). As I remember ECC is after joining, so you need find correct order. XOR is usually standard, two or three different for this controller.

Once more, if you have half page empty, just use DDR=on. It should help.

Thanks to all for your helpness. I read it ok in 4 separated "boxes" (on VNR), but i'm still searching for the correct XoR. So here we go again ;). If i don't find it i will ask to the Rusolut Support. Thanks again.

Best Regards.
